Ramadan first Ashra Dua:
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Ramadan second Ashra Dua:
اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللہَ رَبِّی مِنْ کُلِّ زَنْبٍ وَّ اَتُوْبُ اِلَیْہِ
Ramadan third Ashra Dua:
اَللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ
Ramadan 2023 what you need to know before fasting.
Month of Ramadan is a blessing from almighty Allah ﷻ to the believers, it is auspicious occasion for the muslims. Huzoor paak ﷺ loved the month very much, and used to pray to attain the holy month.
• Taking Suhoor/Sehri is a Farmaan and Sunnah of Huzoor Paak ﷺ
Some blessings of holy month of Ramadan:
Praying Nafl has reward (sawaab) equivelent of farj prayer, and praying farj has 70 times reward.
According to a Hadeeth (Hadees) reciting durood sharif one time has reward of 1 lakh durood sharif recitation.
According to another, Hadeeth Mubarak saying “سبحان اللہ” one time has rewards of reciting سبحان اللہ One lakh times in any other month.
What is Suhoor/Sehri:
• Suhoor/Suhur or as a typical Indian or Pakistani would say “Sehri” is Breakfast/Meal that Muslims take pre-dawn for the start of the fast or “Roza”.
Suhoor helps one to go fasting with energy throughout the entire day, and helps one with maintaining the daily nutrition needs up check!
• Fasting is mandatory in Islam and is from one of the five pillars of Islam.
• Iftar: “Breaking of fast”, Iftar is simply an evening (after sunset) meal, that Muslims take to break their fasts/Roza. The Iftar time is best recognized everywhere for its tasty delights and foods that the entire family/friends and “whom not” ! Take altogether while sharing the food and delights, the Iftar is in itself a celebration of an entire “hefty” day of “Sabr/Taqwa or patience/Avoidance” and staying steadfast on the faith.
