The iconic Tata model Safari has been launched with its modern upgrade, and makeover, the robust SUV and a legend of its time, is “more premium, safer, and technologically advanced.” According to the Tata Motors.

The latest Safari to feature a major facelift, from the previous model (Safari 2021), other major changes, include, plush interior, modern exterior. The new Tata Safari is based on the Omega Arc architecture. This makes it lighter and more fuel-efficient than the old Safari.

• A new front grille, new headlights and tail light, and new alloy wheels are all set to give the new Safari a modern feel and touch.

The new Safari is powered by the same 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine (Cryotec) that powers the current 2021 launched Safari. This engine produces 170 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. It is expected to be mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

The new Safari prices starts at ₹15.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

However, it is expected to offer better value for money, given its updated features and design.

Brief history:

Tata Motors first launched the iconic Safari model in 1998, and the model was available till 2012. Overall three models of the luxury SUV has been introduced till now, the second generation Safari was launched in 2009, and the third generation model was launched back in 2021.
