Mawlana Hamid Raza رضي الله عنه was born in the blessed month of Rabi ul Awwal in the year 1292 Hijri (1875 CE).

Hujjat al-Islam رضي الله عنه attained his knowledge at the feet of his blessed father, Sayyiduna A’la Hadrat Azeemul Barkat رضي الله عنه

Hazrat attained proficiency in the fields of Hadith, Islamic Jurisprudence, Tafseer etc. and graduated with distinctions at the tender age of nineteen. His blessed father admired Hujjatul Islam for his sincerity and dedication in gaining knowledge.

A’la Hadrat رضي الله عنه loved him so dearly, that he said:

حامد مني و انا من حامد

“Hamid is from me and I am from Hamid.”

Hujjatul Islam رضي الله عنه was a very handsome personality.

Hazrat was very fair in complexion and his face shone like a bright light. All those who saw him could not compare him to others they had seen.

Mazaar-e-Paak is beside his blessed father Sayyiduna A’la Hadrat رضي الله عنه in Bareilly Sharif.

Every year during the Urs, thousands of devotees gather at his Mazaar to pay tribute, to a Faithful Servant of Allah, A True Devotee of the holy Prophet Huzoor Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ
