The Rohetgarh was bestowed upon Thakur dalpat Singh in 1622 A.D. for leading and winning several wars under the banner of Rathores of Marwar.
The fort is situated on the banks of a lake in Rohetgarh, now converted into a heritage hotel.
The fort is serving as a heritage hotel since 1989, and is deemed as one of the finest Heritage hotels in the country.
