Occupying more than 200 acres on a 60-foot-high plateau, the mosque can be seen from different directions in Bahria Town, Karachi.
Capacity: The mosque has the capacity to accommodate up to 800,000 worshippers simultaneously. This feature makes this Pakistan’s largest mosque and third-largest mosque in the world.
Design Elements: The masjid has 150 domes in which there is one tallest dome having height of 75 meters (246 feet).
There is also a 99 meter (325-foot) high minaret that adds more significance to this mosque. The architect uses good quality beige-coloured marble from Balochistan.
Automated Courtyard Umbrellas: Automated Umbrellas add more beauty to the mosque.
