We've covered latest Y series phones starting from VIVO, after Y83.

Following the Vivo Y83 launched in 2018, Vivo has launched many newer devices in the same Y series, here are some of the phones that came after Y83;

The latest entry in the Y series phones from VIVO was 2024 VIVO Y28s (2024), launched in June 2024.

the Y28s (2024) features a 6.56-inch display, a dual-camera rear system (50MP + 0.08MP), and an 8MP front camera. It is a budget-friendly option with a focus on battery life (5000mAh).

Previous year's launch Y75, Y22s 2023:

Vivo Y75 (2023), launched in February 2023, the Y75 (2023) sported a 6.58-inch display, a triple-camera rear system (64MP + 8MP + 2MP), and a 44MP front camera. It boasted a focus on camera features and a slim design.

Vivo Y22s, was released in August 2023, the Y22s (2023) came with a 6.55-inch display, a dual-camera rear system (50MP + 2MP), and an 8MP front camera. It was a budget-friendly option within the Y series in 2023.

Vivo Y21, Y33s from 2022:

Vivo Y21 was launched in January 2022, the Y21 (2022) featured a 6.51-inch display, a dual-camera rear system (48MP + 8MP), and a 16MP front camera. It had a sleek design and focused on camera quality.

Vivo Y33s was launched in April 2022, the Y33s (2022) came with a 6.6-inch display, a triple-camera rear system (50MP + 2MP + 2MP), and a 16MP front camera. It offered a larger display and a more powerful processor (MediaTek Helio G80) compared to the Y21 (2022).

Vivo Y53s was launched in July 2021, the Y53s came with a 6.58-inch display, a triple-camera rear system (64MP + 2MP + 2MP), and a 16MP front camera. It was a mid-range option within the Y series in 2021.

Vivo Y73 (2021): Launched in February 2021, the Y73 (2021) sported a 6.44-inch display, a quad-camera rear system (48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP), and a 16MP front camera. It boasted powerful processor (MediaTek Helio G95.)

Vivo Y30 (2020): Launched in May 2020, the Y30 (2020) offered a 6.44-inch display, a quad-camera rear system (13MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP), and a 16MP front camera. It had a larger battery (5000mAh) compared to the Y83.

Vivo Y83 Pro: The Y83 Pro model was launched in India in 2019. It came with a 6.22-inch notched display, dual rear cameras (13MP + 2MP), and an 8MP front-facing camera. While not a massive upgrade over the Y83, it offered a slightly larger display and a different design aesthetic.

Vivo Y20s (2020): Released in August 2020, the Y20s (2020) featured a 6.51-inch display, a triple-camera rear system (13MP + 8MP + 2MP), and an 8MP front camera. It was a more affordable option within the Y series in 2020.

Vivo Y9s (2019): The Y9s Launched globally in July 2019, the Y9s (2019) featured a 6.38-inch display, a triple-camera rear system (16MP + 8MP + 2MP), and a 16MP front camera. It sported a more powerful processor (Snapdragon 665) compared to the Y83's MediaTek Helio P22.

Vivo Y12 (2019): Released in December 2019, the Y12 (2019) came with a 6.35-inch display, a triple-camera rear system (13MP + 8MP + 2MP), and a 16MP front camera. It was a more budget-friendly option compared to the Y83 and Y9s (2019).

The vivo Y83 was launched in May 2018, the phone comes with a screen size of 6.22-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 720 pixels by 1520 pixels.

Powered by 2GHz octa-core processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. While it carries 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD.

The VIVO Y83 comes with a Battery capacity of 3260mAh, and is available in 3 Colours, Aurora white, Polar Black and CharmRed.
