• Developed countries tend to have higher levels of industrialization, simply putting it can do major manufacturing domestically, like transportation, military sector, high quality infrastructure with domestic capabilities, providing of healthcare, high and quality life-style and more.

• Developed nation should be able to produce, technological advanced with futuristic tech, computer science, automobile, aviation, general home appliances alongside many other aspects.

• Healthcare, education, and lifestyle of the residence should be up-to the mark.

• Life should be less uncertain, poverty free, and equal rights should also be present in the society.

What does it mean by a developed nation not fully developed? According to some experts, some so-called “developed nations” have failed to totally achieve all the required things that make a country developed, and are failing to eradicate the issues generally found in a developing nation. Here are some reasons why developed nations cannot be termed as fully developed.

• Poverty, high levels of violence, uncertainty of future among youth, political instability, prosperity issues that are not totally overcome.

• Issues like increased debt (US is struggling against it), lower incomes against heightened global inflation, UK has struggled in recent times due to this.

• Hateful and targeted attacks in the society (mass shooting, racism, communal hate crimes, hate speech, unbalanced policies that distinguish between rich and poor.)

• Incapability to act upon certain international human rights violation due to biased opinion, or self gain policies;

• Inability to address and overcome global issues like, Global Warming, helping and lifting poor and war-torn countries out of poverty, enabling internal stability, solving international conflicts, achieving cohesive development among others.

Intellects indicate towards the fact that if a nation is fully developed, it has achieved 99% education criteria, its policymakers are well-educated and do not have a bias towards anyone. It knows how to live prosperously, then it should be able to speak against unjust, prevent evils in the society, and be bias-free and not be the reason for any unjust in the world.

This leads to a theory, that says, a developed nation is not a “fully developed” nation.

The rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer. Recent reports suggest middle-class and poor in the developed countries are having difficulties to pay their bills, feed themselves, plan a retirement, according to news reports from countries like US, UK, and other European countries.

Hate crimes, hate speech, based on religion, ethnicity, colour, creed, are seen rising, in the developed countries as of the news reports in recent times.

A place that could be called fully developed in true sense where there is no hatred, bias, international cohesive approach, the social gap based on various factors should not be present. These things should just be a start of the many positives that people should work together towards achieving.

A fully developed world, with no wrongdoing, is way far from us where we currently stand.
