What Happened on Shab E Meraj:

27th Rajab-ul-Murajjab is the blessed night of the Prophet’s ﷺ Heavenly Ascension. Shab-e Mi’raaj.

On 27th of Rajab-ul-Murajjab, 12 years after the announcement of Prophethood, (Allah) ﷲ ﷻ Almighty favoured our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم with an unprecedented miracle; the Night Journey (Isra) and the Heavenly Ascension (Mi’raaj).

During this extraordinary night, our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم travelled to Masjid Al-Aqsa, where he led all Prophets and Messengers عَـلَـيْهِمُ السَّلَام in Salah, ascending into the heavens, and visited Paradise and Hell.

The blessed Shab-e Meraj night marked many other significant miracles of Huzoor Pak ﷺ

The crowning miracle of this night was the beatific vision; when our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم beheld (Allah) ﷲ ﷻ Almighty, with his physical eyes, in complete wakefulness.

Allah ﷲ ﷻ wanted the world to know that the holy Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is not like any other Prophets and Messengers عَـلَـيْهِمُ السَّلَام and no other human being is like Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and that no one else will ever be like Huzoor Pak ﷺ till the roz-e Qayamah (Day of Judgement.)
