    Hurricane Milton is a powerful Category 5 storm, which will bring heavy rainfall across the Florida peninsula, here are the areas that are at risk of flash flooding:

    Key areas like Orlando, Tampa, St. Petersburg, and surrounding place are at the high alert with 70% chances of flash flooding.

    Chaotic images have emerged from across Florida as Hurricane Milton storm cause significant losses, trees falling, heavy rainfall, strong winds, causing 3 million without power and damaged infrastructure.

    Areas particularly the Gulf Coast, St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Orlando at high risk. Danger zones include parts of Volusia County (Daytona Beach, New Smyrna, Ormond Beach) and St. John’s County.

    Impacts range from catastrophic storm surges, flooding, and destructive winds, potentially rendering homes uninhabitable for extended periods. Evacuations have been ordered in multiple counties, and emergency shelters have opened across the region​, according to a report by Fox News.

    Hurricane Milton disrupts travel by air, land, and sea, as of Wednesday, airlines had cancelled a total of 1,874 flights within, into or out of the U.S., according to tracking service FlightAware.

    Most of the cancellations were for flights to or from Florida, where airports closed ahead of the hurricane, which is expected to make landfall as early as Wednesday night. As of Wednesday afternoon, 825 flights into or out of Orlando International Airport (MCO) were cancelled.
