The military said in a statement earlier that more than 240 rockets have been launched from Lebanon at northern Israel today.
Hezbollah confronted and throttled a sneaking incursion attempt by an Israeli elite troop party of around 30 soldiers yesterday morning in southern Lebanon. The deadly confrontations are going on since morning of 2nd of October. According to various news reports, the failed incursion attempt by Israeli army to the Southern Lebanon, resulted in “killing and wounding of more than 80 soldiers and officers, with almost five tanks destroyed.”
The Israeli military said ground forces backed by air strikes had killed Hezbollah fighters in “close-range engagements”.
Israel is facing concerning setbacks after it began its “limited ground operation” in the Lebanese borders in southern areas. Israel confirmed the reports of its soldiers killed in a failed incursion attempt. Reports say at least eight Israeli soldiers were killed.
Hezbollah said it has destroyed three Israeli Merkava tanks with guided missiles as they approached Maroun al-Ras village.
The Lebanese group said it detonated an explosive device inside a building sheltering Israeli soldiers outside the Lebanese village of Kfar Kila. It said all members of the unit were either killed or injured, without specifying the number of casualties.
Earlier in the day, Hezbollah said its fighters repelled and inflicted losses on Israeli troops in Odaisseh and Yaroun. Hezbollah made no mention of whether the group suffered any casualties. As per report published by Aljazeera news platform based in Qatar.
Israel is waging a brutal war since last October 7 against Gaza, which has resulted in killing of more than 45,000 Gazans and injuring, 100000+ Gazans.
While brutal attacks on Palestinians across occupied territories like West Bank has resulted in 100s of Palestinians casualties.
It is notable that Hamas and other resistance groups in besieged Gaza Strip launched an unprecedented attack by entered the occupied territory and targeting Israeli military targets, in a special military operation, in response to the repeated Israeli offences in Al-Aqsa mosque and on Palestinians.
The attacks were seen as a response to the occupation of Palestinian lands by Israel since the last 75 years and against the dehumanization of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and across occupied territories by many experts.
The resistance fighters took 100s of hostages back to Gaza strip, in order to demand and negotiate a prisioners swap deal with Israel, the resistance demanded immediate release of, unlawfully captured thousands of Palestinians, from Israeli prisons.
This led to the Israeli bombing of densely populated Gaza Strip, which followed a ground operation into the besieged enclave, which is going on to this date.
